The applicant’s research emphasis is on climate / hydro / soil geography, ideally with special focus on mountain areas and their forelands. His/Her research should contribute to the university’s key research area ‘Environment and Global Change’ and include the application of modern geographical technologies like environmental monitoring and modelling. We expect
– Proven research performance at international level and established in the scientific community,
– Innovative geographical research in the field of man-environment interaction (according to the mission statement of the Department of Geography and Regional Science) and/or interdisciplinary research,
– Willingness to perform application-oriented research, both in the international and regional environment of the University of Graz.
